NEWS - July 2011
BCGA is delighted to announce that Mr Jake (Peter) Lake, will join BCGA as Technical Manager with effect from 1st October 2011.
 |
Originally an aircraft engineer in the Royal Navy, Jake is well known to many BCGA Members, being the MOD's current member rep on BCGA committees, their industrial gases 'guru' and an active player on a number of standards committees. |
He will succeed Steve Elliott, who retires at the end of 2011, having done the last 15 years of a total 37 year career in the industrial gases business, giving Sterling service to BCGA.
Steve's were big shoes to fill, but we are sure that Jake is up to the challenge and that Members and external contacts alike will give him a very warm welcome and wish him all the very best in his new role.
Steve has agreed to return to see us in 2012 at the BCGA Conference (19th April at Oulton Hall Hotel, Leeds), which will be the proper place and time to give him his deserved send off.
Jake's BCGA contact details will be made available to members at his start date.
