Despite the rigours of a BCGA Conference dinner on the preceding evening, the BCGA golfers were up bright and early on the Friday morning to face a very sunny but windy day on the testing Staverton Park course.

The main event was played on an individual basis, Stableford scoring – and our congratulations go to the winner, Mr Andrew Jackson of Jackson Keay.

Playing off a 28 handicap and possibly not viewed as favourite before the event, Andrew mastered the conditions to score 32 points – but will, of course, face close scrutiny by the handicap committee before next year’s event!

Runner up – Richard Gearing of BOC

Third – Ram Patel of SAFC.

Winner, nearest the Pin – Warren Hepples of Luxfer.

Winner Longest drive was Adam Sullivan of Air Products.
